Ray-J – How Did I Know (Review & Stream)

 

My Mans Ray-J is in love, and it is oozing all over this new track! Who knew this Love and Hip Hop hall of famer could be so sentimental? That’s actually a contradiction if you ask me.

I’m not really feeling the lyrics (Too amateur), the flow (Too all over the place), or the vocals (Too Scratchy) on this track… What I do like is his intentions, as he opens up about how he feels about his wifey Princess.

Naims – Paces (Album Review)

Paces is a fantastic record. Naims balances nostalgic, familiar influences from bands like The Beatles, Talking Heads, and Queen with a unique musical perspective. You can tell that Ian Stewart knows about music theory and history, and he can play lots of instruments very well. It’s a very impressive project. There isn’t anyone I wouldn’t recommend this to.
