Kendrick Lamar – The Heart 4 (Review & Stream)

Kendrick Lamar photographed in London this month for the Observer New Review.
When Kendrick is spitting like this, he is a very scary MC.

Kendrick has decided to join in on all the fun that the top rappers have been having lately by releasing the 4th installment of his ‘The Heart’ series. On it, he is aggressively proclaiming his spot at the top.

The song starts off with a Common-like beat that Kendrick seems to get a bit conscious on. It then transitions to this killer rapper beat, and that is when the haymakers starts happening. Shot after shot Kendrick takes at some rapper (Most likely Big Sean), warning them that he is coming to take their lunch money.

I haven’t heard this Kendrick in a while…

OVERALL RATING (5/5)
