Hasley – Lie (Ft. Quavo) (Review & Stream)

Quavo is crossing over to the other side/and he didn’t even have to die.

I would’ve never guessed that Quavo would collaborate with pop star Hasley for a track, but I also would’ve never guessed he would collaborate with Katy Perry either. Nonetheless, this is a good look for him.

Hasley is extremely dramatic on this song, sounding super convinced that this person doesn’t love her anymore. I love her youthful voice, as she sorta sounds like a white Kehlani to me.

Quavo harmonizes pretty heavy on this song, doing his best to spill his guts on his verse. He doesn’t quite match the emotions Hasley does, but definitely provides something deep.

OVERALL RATING (4.1/5)
