I feel like I can’t say a bad thing about Lecrae’s music because of the pain that lightning can cause.
I absolutely loved ‘Blessing‘ with Ty Dolla Sign, making me a fan of Lecrae almost instantly. LeCrae definitely continues his hot streak here, as he collaborates with Tori Kelly (Aka My baby) for this motivational track.
Tori predictably provides that cliche hook that is catered to top 40 audiences, getting the opportunity to sing on the breakdown part of the beat. She does sound pretty stunning on the track, giving off this glowing sound.
LeCrae is a helluva rapper, and mainly because he is clear, can flow, and is dynamic in his approach. Aside from his message of uplift, I think he is good at how he delivers his words to us (aka not whining).
This is a picture perfect song by LeCrae.
