Sky Lover is a pop duo that usually combines this artistic approach content-wise with this very nostalgic pop sound on their music. They are not afraid to step outside of the box a little when it comes to making songs, which is something I find imperative for the music of today. With this new track called ‘Pipe Dreams’, the duo amazes listeners with this hypnotizing sound.
Pipe Dreams has this lost in wonderland sound, as Sky Lover mixes in some dream pop with this synthwave sound. With the song having this hypnotizing vibe overall, listeners are thrust into sky lovers world of fantasy that must end with the loves of their life being apart of.
I enjoy how careful the duo is with their words, as they take advantage of the smooth production effectively.
