What did I do to earn a Cassie release in 2017?
Cassie has always been a great artist that gets a bit overlooked for her impact to me. Her somber tone on songs has been one that has been mimicked for years, and has really been a symbol in hip hop music today; this track follows that approach, letting listeners know that she rather be miserable with alone as opposed to be in love with jojo Simmons.
G-Easy is hardly a loser right? On this song he adds the whole fonz feel to the track, smoothly complimenting Cassie sound.
Not the best come back song for Cassie, but then again, I thought Cassie gave up her career to become a soccer mom a while ago.
