I would consider Tee Grizzley and Meek to be in the same lane, so this collaboration makes perfect sense.
The chemistry on this song is phenomenal! Meek ad-libs, while Tee goes on and on about what he’ll do to you if you test his gangsta. His punchlines are pretty good, and his words are very believable.
Meek was in the streets for several years, and he is still able to channel that same street-inspired sound whenever he wants to. On this verse, Meek does his best Silkk Tha Shocker impersonation, stumbling on his words, but being able to catch up with the beat to deliver blows.
I feel like I just heard a track by 2 people that are ready to spray at all times.
