Kehlani – Honey (Review & Stream)

Kehlani drops one of her most beautiful songs to date with ‘Honey’.

One of the main things that make Kehlani special to me is her brash yet vintage R&B sound. On ‘Honey’, she sorta ditches that approach by dropping this heartwarming track that gives us a glimpse into the way she thinks as a young single woman.

From start to finish, it is apparent that Kehlani wants to impress us with her stunning voice, reaching vocal ranges that are pretty impressive to hear. When it is all said and done, the song is a step forward in the right direction for the Bay Area singer, as she starts to get her feet wet in the top 40 genre of music.
