The lady powerhouses unite for this tough ass track called, ‘Wake Me Up’.
The streets have no problem bumping Remy, especially when she’s spitting like this. Lots of us grew up on her freestyle days, so hearing her go at peoples necks like she does on this song is like a breath of fresh air.
Despite all the foolishness that Kim does in her personal time, when she wants to spit she can spit! On this song she lays down this Caribbean inspired hook that is clearly coming for someone head. Her part is very reminiscent of her ‘Lighters up’ hit, and the beat samples her ‘Queen Bitch’ track from her debut album, ‘Hardcore’.
I ain’t going to lie, I can’t tell the difference between Kim and Remy on this track.
