Verse Simmonds – Make Up (Ft. Ty Dolla $ign) (Review & Stream)

Verse Simmonds and Ty Dolla $ign connect for this major single off of Verse Simmonds new album called ‘Make Up’.

Verse has been a prominent songwriter these last couple of years, so it probably warms his heart that he has finally got the chance to do his solo thing here. Over this amped up R&B beat, Verse does quite a bit of harmonizing, trying his hand at convincing some woman that she should push all their problems aside and do the hokey pokey. His words are blunt, and straight to the point.

Ty’s part is very minimal…. He sounds a lot like Future on the song, but he ain’t talking about Percocets though.

Don’t you just love how thirsty R&B singers has become these last couple of years? SMH.
