How does August Alsina’s singing self make this work?
I never thought someone could make ‘Gucci Gang’ sound soap opera-ish, but August Alsina proved me wrong. Over practically the same beat, August harmonizes these rough and tough lyrics about his city, LA, and disegard for women, but does it in a way that sounds pretty soulful. It’s an interesting take on the song, one that I never want to hear again….
