Styles P – Ghost Says (Ft. Dave East and Nino Man) (Review & Stream)

Styles P, Dave East and Nino Man spit verses to one of my favorite instrumentals of all time on ‘Ghost Says’.

Common’s ‘Be’ album is one of my favorite album of all time, mainly because he worked hand in hand with Kanye West for the majority of it. One of the tracks on the album is called, ‘They Know’, and it has Kanye and Common going back and forth on this smooth yet heavy hitting beat. On this remix to it, all three artists prove my theory that this was one of the toughest beats ever created, as they spit deadly bars detailing their come up, violent ways, and motivation to stay true to their hood on it. Of course they didn’t create something better than the original, but they still did a good job, though.
