Do you realize we live in a world in which Snoop and Eminem are both the most motivational rappers out?
Snoop Dogg has slowly become a motivational rap figure these last couple of years, something I find interesting considering he started his career rapping as reckless as anyone else in the game. On “Motivational,” Snoop uses all of his energy to pump positivity into the current athletes of the world, ultimately creating the perfect song to warm up to. You don’t get much rapping from the boss Dogg on this song, instead you get a lot of melodizing over this triumphant instrumental.
This song is dope and all, but I’m clearly not going to get motivated seeing Snoop’s skinny ass do some weight training.
