Dreamville artist, Cozz, seems to be as focused as ever lately, dropping several new songs in the last couple of months. They’ve all been really good, but “Badu” might be better! Over this chill/mellow instrumental, Cozz gets the spittin’, dropping these inspirational bars over this jazz heavy instrumental. You can hear the hunger in his voice, as he navigates through the song like a pure voyager.
Can Curren$y fit this track any better? On his previous work, he was rapping over beats like these, so you knew this s–t was going to be target practice for him. Trust me, I’m no big fan of Curren$y, but when he does what I expect him to do on a track, I respect it.
