ILOVEMAKONNEN is usually a hit or miss for me, and with “Paper Chase,” he’s more hit then miss. Over this gutter instrumental, the “Tuesday” creator gets nice and gritty, spitting these cold ass lyrics about chasing money and ignoring the distractions that come up during the pursuit. I think this track is one of the more tougher ones he’s made, especially since his announcement.
