Vic takes aim at both Michael Vick and Joe Budden on “Diplomatic Immunity Freestyle.”
Vic Mensa can rap, but sometimes he sounds like a nagging girlfriend on records. In “Diplomatic Immunity Freestyle,” he raps well, giving us hefty punchlines, confident bars (Even though his flow is shaky at times), and a few menacing lines, but complains just a little too much for my liking. I don’t know why, but it comes across as extra annoying to me.
I f–ks with the fact that Vic openly admits to having a therapist.
