Preme – Loaded (Ft. YG) (Review & Stream)

One of Toronto’s toughest gangstas links up with one of Cali’s toughest gangstas for “Loaded.”

What I didn’t mention in the intro was that DJ Mustard is responsible for this songs beat, and he hooks Preme up with a Cali-inspired instrumental that focuses on lots of bass.

Preme starts the song off with a pretty aggressive verse, showing an ability to throw out some impressive wordplay throughout. On the hook, he gets melodic, giving us something that is both disrespectful and catchy at the same time. It’s definitely a dynamic performance from the Canadian rapper on this cut.

YG strong arms the hell out of this beat, grabbing it by the shoulders and shaking the hell out of it. To me, he solidifies the tracks gangsta, as he fits in quite nicely with it’s LA vibes.

This is an explosive comeback track from the OVO homie.
