I probably won’t be watching “Love, Simon,” but I can f—k with this single off of it.
Khalid is gold on fast tempo tracks, just as long as it still contains some smooth elements. The good people at “Love, Simon” headquarters knew this, which is why Khalid excels 150 percent of this track! His part feels so smooth, so perfectly matched with the instrumental that I might (and I mean ‘might’) watch the previews to this movie.
Normani (I swear I had a Sega Genesis game with that same name) adds that last bit of flavor to the song with this boisterous contribution. Because of her, I might just bootleg Love, Simon, and have it running in the background while I’m cleaning my fridge, or something.
