My brotha from another, Wale, is entering into a VERY critical time in his career. I feel like both his fans and the music exec’s have been doubting him lately (Something “Staying Power” is actually about), so it’s imperative he comes with it whenever he gets on the mic. Well he definitely does on this track, showing great wordplay, aggression and powerful bars the moment the beat drops. If he’s rapping like this from now on, n—as might be in trouble.
