I didn’t quite see this collaboration coming, but since it’s here, let’s indulge in it!
If you ask me, I think Sam Smith is greatness. Not only is his voice outstanding, but the messages he delivers in his music is typically heartfelt and deep. In one of his more emotional tracks, “Pray,” the UK singer gets his gospel on, delivering this soul-clinching tune that combines soul with boisterousness. In the remix to it, Logic talks about being crucified for the way he moves, dropping this impassioned verse that fits the track perfectly.
I don’t see this as a big time radio hit, but I definitely see it as a fan favorite for both artists.
