I’ve heard rappers get more sentimental about weed than any woman they’ve loved or been in a relationship with. In “Mary Jane,” that is what you get, a love song about that good ol sticky icky by a bunch of rap stoners. I feel like the lead guy, Sam Sneak, plays an effective hype-man on the track, blessing us with this burly hook and first verse, while Wiz, Nipsey and Curren$y all provide some tough ass verses that remind us all that we don’t have as much money as them, can’t out-smoke them or won’t do s**t when the hood expects us to.
