You know why Russ can insult producers in the game and get away with it? Because he produces majority of his music already. “Back To Life” is yet another track in which he was the main architect, handling producer duties, and playing crooner and rapper on it.
You know what I find most interesting about this song? It has a very fun-loving hook, yet Russ comes out aggressively on his verses. It’s almost like he acknowledges his haters in one sense, but in the other, he isn’t sweating them at all. That is the perfect formula to make a hater even angrier.
Russ is hella talented, I just think he gotta chill with all those cocky ass interviews.
