Juice WRLD’s troubles are highlighted in “Rich & Blind.”
This trend of rappers dropping songs that are clearly coming from a dark and lonely place is starting to bother me. Not only does our hero rap about being a young man that is rich and blind on this song, but he also talks about dealing with the demise that the people around him are predicting. Despite the song having this uptempo vibe to it, its sobering content makes it a bit harder to enjoy.
