Sludge City – Berzerk (Review & Stream)

Sludge City is ready to wreck havoc in the laid-back yet menacing “Berzerk.”

If you need an old school hip hop fix, Sludge City’s self-titled album is exactly what you need! It features twelve tracks of nothing but tough ass bars and timeless beats. One of the standouts off of the album is “Berzerk” — a song with a smooth instrumental, but absolutely heinous lyrical content attached to it. On it, not only does Richie FX and Mic Ripz let the world know that they aren’t the ones you want to test with these maddening bars, but they each show some great wordplay and consistent flows on their respective verses. If that’s not enough to rattle you, then you must be asking for a death wish.
