Young M.A. – Petty Wap (Review & Stream)

I used to stay calling my girls Petty Wap!

I don’t care what all you traditional rap heads think, Young M.A. can rap her ass off. One of the main reasons I think people are skeptical of her achievements is because she doesn’t drop music much. “Petty Wap” is her first real single since “Praktice” in March, and it features a version of the rapper that sounds drowsy, inebriated and halfway inspired. Her Lyrical content is still dope enough to enjoy the track, though, as she makes sure she keeps you entertained with a few bars revolving around recruiting the baddest chicks and proving her doubters wrong. I also love the seesaw rhythm she raps with throughout.

Someone get M.A. some coffee!
