You know what this song reminds me of? A vintage Paula Abdul track. In my opinion, Kasai has the same style as the former Lakers cheerleader, and the beat she decided to sing over has this 80’s feel attached to it. Initially, the song sounds a bit off, but as it goes on, it makes a lot more sense.
As he usually does when he hops on a pop track, Joey Bada$$ adds some grit on his feature. He hits us with a laid back verse towards the end, finding a way to make it sound OK to run game on this chick he’s pursuing. I can dig his part for its laid-back nature.
