Lil Bibby – Give Me A Call (Review & Stream)

It looks like Lil Bibby has turned into LL Cool J overnight.


Production-wise, “Give Me A Call” is smooth, boasting this old school R&B sound that I can picture Keith Sweat crooning over. Fortunately, Bibby doesn’t let the beat discourage him from being his usual tough-nosed self, as he raps with the same gritty/aggressive nature that we’ve come to love. He does show a smidge of mushiness content-wise, though, bigging up his chick throughout his verses for holding him down when times were rough (These sentiments are sandwiched in-between some savage lyrics).
