I love Wale on R&B joints.
Since Wale was dropped (ouch), he’s had a new mindset. He’s been dropping way more music, and hopping on s**t that actually fits him. In “Right Now,” one of the most childish R&B records to-date (l mean that as a compliment, BTW), the DC legend absolutely dissects the slow pace beat, delivering this tricky flow that feels like a fly you can’t swat and some poetic lyrics that feels like Nick Cannon’s character from “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” wrote. Ooh la la la, I’m feeling this joint RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW! I don’t know about later, though.
OVERALL RATING (4.5/5)
