Russ – September 16 (Review & Stream)

Russ continues to flex his musical skills in September 16.

Russ has been very unpredictable in his musical direction. At times, he’s soft in nature, showing off an uncanny ability to harmonize, and in others, he’s been tough as nails, taking aim at his foes through some very aggressive lyrics. Nonetheless, it’s been good music from him. In his latest effort, he combines both worlds to talk about this up and down relationship he he’s in with this special individual. The track has a lot of soul-searching involved in it, a splash of mushiness, and a lot of passive aggressiveness (I expected that, he’s light skin).

OVERALL RATING (4/5)
