I’m going to say it now: YBN Cordae is the best rapper under the age of 21. The way he is able to piece his words together is outstanding, the flows he raps with are impregnable, and most importantly, the topics he covers are deep. In “Scottie Pippen,” he continues to impress me, dropping this loosey-goosey banger that feels like a lyrical exercise for him.
It’s clear rap is easy for YBN Cordae, so maybe we should encourage him to dabble in other harder hobbies; how about sewing?.
