Joell Ortiz didn’t have to do the beat like this…
Joell Ortiz was left out of the original version of “Get The Strap,” and after listening to this freestyle over the songs beat, I’m starting to believe that was a huge mistake. On “Get The Strap Freestyle,” you get nothing but heinous bars from Joell, as he does his best to intimidate the haunting beat as much as he can (Bullies can get bullied). He also showcases some serious wordplay throughout (Something he’s really good at), convincing listeners he’s both lyrical and a more than capable shooter.
What’s gotten into Joell lately? He’s been motivated to kill s**t these last couple of days.
