We can argue for days about what the best rap album is in 2018, but in my opinion, there is no doubt that Ella Mai’s “Trip'” has locked down the top spot when it comes to R&B singles. Today, one of R&B’s hottest artists decided to remix the track, and much to my surprise, he killed it! Throughout, Jacquees slays s**t, combining silky smooth vocals with the slyest of lyrics. For the fellas, we finally have a dudes perspective to being obsessed with a chick.
I definitely like “Trip” better than “Boo’d Up.”
