Young Scooter (AKA Gucci Mane’s shooter) is my go to trap artist.
Young Scooter isn’t quite a household name right now, but in my opinion, he’s just as good as any one of your favorite southern rappers. When he drops music, he tends to make s**t that is catchy and hood-proof — something you shouldn’t overlook at all. In “New Hunnid,” he continues his winning ways, providing us with a track that features an infectious hook and compelling lyrics revolving around hustling and flossing the right way. Yung Bans and Gunna are also featured on the song, and they add some well-needed mumbling into it (I can’t believe I just said that).
I still have my money on Scooter being the next best thing in trap music.
