Lil Wayne & Gucci Mane Are Both Uncensored On “In This House” (Review & Stream)

Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane will play the perfect tow truck drivers.

Lil Wayne released his highly anticipated “Carter IV” album a couple of months ago, and as expected, it featured some absolute bangers! Interestingly enough, one of the biggest was left off the official release of the project, and it is called “In This House.” The song features Gucci Mane, and together, him and Wayne go back and forth, killing this high-energy instrumental that has one of my favorite samples of all time attached to it (Frank Ski’s classic “There’s Some Hoes In This House”). As far as the raps, they are as ruthless as it gets, with Gucci setting the tone with this bossed up verse that has him talking about his coins and putting scandalous women in their places, while Wayne goes absolutely ham, calling out the softies of the world and pushing everyone else to the edge through vicious words and violent threats. All in all, the track will get you hyped up, so careful playing it around the cops or your mama.

Which song was more high-octane? This or “We Steady Mobbin’?”

OVERALL RATING (4/5)
