Dej Loaf Gives Us Something Smooth In “Last Time I Checked” (Review & Stream)

Dej Loaf is spitting bars on this joint!

Honestly, I think Dej Loaf is one of the most talented female rappers in the game right now. She does everything from sing smoothly to rap tenaciously, even combining the two masterfully whenever she gets a chance to. In “Last Time I Checked,” the Detroit native spits bars about being a real one, finding a way to talk about moving respectfully in an industry that is known to swallow unintelligent artists whole.

Dej has certainly learned from her early career mistakes.
