BlocBoy JB Does Some Showboating In “Licks” (Review & Stream)

I swear, BlocBoy JB looks like my one cousin that isn’t doing anything with his life right now.

I’ll be the first to tell you that I am not the biggest fan of BlocBoy JB. It’s not that I don’t think he can rap, I just feel like he shows no disparity from all the other trap n***as in the game. Anyway, on his latest single “Licks,” he gives us something that has this dope ass trap instrumental attached to it, in addition to some very braggadocios bars. Personally, I think the best part of this song is its tempo and JB’s exuberance, as combined, the two create this action-packed feel throughout.

BlocBoy JB has been impressing me as of late.
