I can honestly say I missed Justin Timberlake!
Robin Thicke has been pretty quiet since releasing “Paula” in 2014. As you may know, that album was dedicated to his ex-wife Paula Patton, making it one of his most personal projects to-date. In “Testify,” his latest single, he continues his introspective journey, giving us something serene-sounding and deep content-wise. The “Blurred Lines” singer also brings out his most daring vocals, which in turn makes his topics of overcoming tragedy and finding trust in the people around him come across as even deeper. I’m not going to lie, I felt his every word on this song, so much so that I had my eyes closed while I was listening to it.
Robin Thicke has been through a lot these last couple of years. God bless his soul!
