GoldLink continues his streak of making really good music.
I’m not going to lie, I didn’t see GoldLink’s rise to fame coming. (I should’ve known better, because my guy Suave called it a few months ago) Since he’s been poppin’, I’ve enjoyed practically all of his releases. In “Justine’s Interlude,” his latest gem, he spits with no filters on him, letting his chick know he’s focused on her, while also reminding her to denounce everyone from the blogs to her violent exes while she’s with him. As usual, the DMV native raps with this semi-melodic style, in addition to staying true to a robotic-like flow. Personally, I wouldn’t call the track the best thing since sliced bread, but I do see it as a solid joint that you can vibe out to on one of those rainy days.
DMV, stand up ’til your legs give out for your boy, Link!
