Anytime iLoveMakonnen releases a song on anything other than a Tuesday, I am confused.
iLoveMakonnen is a bizarre artist, but for some odd reason, I find him highly entertaining to listen to! In his newest release, “Spendin,” with Gucci Mane, his idol, he was able to create quite the banger. On it, he breaks glasses with his singing (in a good way), gifting us with this catchy ass hook, while also spitting some semi-serious bars about everything from hustling to buying luxurious s**t.
I actually f**k with Gucci Mane’s verse on this song a lot! On it, he plays the black Donald Trump, making unsupported claims of being both a rich boss and the greatest of all time, while dismissing what he considers ‘fake news’ people. Don’t you just love Gucci Mane?
iLoveMakonnen sounds like a swindler on a Disney movie when he raps.
