These are two completely different New York cats.
Desiigner is struggling to get a hit to stick with fans after releasing “Panda.” The funny thing is that I feel like he has dropped some pretty solid music since then. Today, in my opinion, he dropped perhaps his best release to-date.
“RIICH” is mean, carefree, and has a really good flow to it. On it, Desiigner blesses us with a couple of verses that has him sounding motivated and inspired to receive his worth, and a focused verse by featured guest Dave East that has him letting the world know that he won’t fall prey to bulls**t (among-st several things). I love the chemistry both rappers show here, especially when it comes to the boss-like attitudes they show throughout.
I hope Desiigner doesn’t end up a one-hit wonder…
