Back in the day, DJ Kay Slay used to annoy the s**t out of me when I heard his voice on all of those bootleg rap songs. Well, these days, the New York DJ prefers to play the back, opting to release music both legally and voice-free. In Hip Hop Frontline, Kay Slay was able to create a body of work that blends authentic old school rap music with the carefree/explosive ones you hear today. The end result is sixteen tracks of straight fire!
