I am under Shadowfields’ spell, folks…
Shadowfields are a band from Chicago that specializes in Americana, swamp-grass, neo-gypsy and folk-rock. In June, they are looking to release a brand new album, which I anticipate featuring some pretty interesting music. In “Awake,” the first single off of the project, Shadowfields were able to provide us with a riveting tune that features bone-chilling vocals, hypnotizing lyrical content and a colorful instrumental. Personally, I love the chemistry both lead singers show on the song, as each of them do a great job of making their words of wisdom in regards to finding someone who is reliable in your life truly come alive.
This is truly beautiful music.
