Nas, Fashawn & Ezri Unite For Mass Appeal’s “Apostles” (Review & Stream)

Old School rap music has slowly been making a comeback.

Earlier today, Mass Appeal dropped off “Starting 5” — an eight track EP that features Stro, Ezri, Cantrell, 070 Phi and Fashawn. The intro track to the EP is “Apostles,” and it has guest appearance by the legendary Nas.

“Apostles” is laced with this holy instrumental that literally begs rappers to kill it. Over this instrumental, Ezri, Fashawn and Nas all trade bars about being woke and never showing fear to proclaim oneself as royal. What listeners will love about the song is that the bars come out rampant by each artist, which means unflappable flows and wisdom-filled lyrics. Who can top that, right?

Check out Mass Appeal’s “Starting 5” on all major streaming services.
