Skepta Takes Aim At Wiley In “Wish You Were Here” (Review & Stream)

Skepta is the second best rapper from the UK…

UK artists Skepta and Wiley are currently ingrained in a beef. Do people in the states care about it? Probably not, but I do find enjoyment in seeing London on London crime. Anyway, late last year, Wiley made some disparaging comments about Skepta after he worked with his longtime foe Dizzee Rascal. Well, after four months, Skepta has finally clapped back at Wiley, and the end result is a heinous-sounding diss song that doesn’t sound all that heinous lyrically. On it, Skepta talks about doing everything he could to meet Wiley face-to-face, implying that he was ducking him like I’m ducking a committed relationship. What I do like about the song is that Skepta sounds very angry on it…I love Skepta when he’s angry!

Who’s London’s version of Minister Farrakhan?
