Royce Da 5’9 Keeps S**t Way Too Real On “Field Negro” (Review & Stream)

I’m all ears, Royce.

Royce Da 5’9 is a top notch rapper. Unfortunately, there are only a few out there. I thought last year, he opened lots of hip-hop fans’ ears, which has set him up nicely for an even bigger 2019.

In “Field Negro,” Royce Da 5’9’s latest offering, he practically tells artists how their decision-making has lent to white-washed lifestyles. As usual, Royce’s bars are astute on his verses (punchlines, wordplay and all), and his unapologetic approach is so heinous this time around, if I was a musician, I would send him my addy.

We probably need more music like this.
