ReadJ & Tommy Stoner Drop The Electrifying “NotToday”

ReadJ is one of the most interesting hip-hop acts I’ve ever heard before.

ReadJ holds absolutely nothing back when he makes music. In “Pap.Arazzi.Me,” his latest album, he does everything from sing soulfully to rap poetically; the combination of the two styles results in a body of work that will keep you on your toes at all times. One of my favorite songs from the project is “NotToday.”

In my opinion, there are three things that will catch your attention about “Not Today:” For starters, the instrumental ReadJ sings over is pretty intense, boasting futuristic vibes and the sounds of about 300 different camera shots. Secondly, J’s confidence is glaring on his lone verse, as he makes sure you hear and feel every one of his words by utilizing a melodic approach Travis Scott would be proud of. Lastly, the roaring vocals you get from Tommy Stoner throughout the song will pierce at your soul, making you feel like you’ve been transported into the medieval times. When you add all of those elements I pointed out together, you will realize you just heard something epic.
