Money Bagz Drops A Street Anthem In “Make It Out”

“Make It Out” definitely puts things in perspective if you are from the hood.

Not only is Money Bagz a talented rapper, but also he has a life story that is very powerful, too. Hailing from Far Rockaway, Queens, Bagz has been through everything from near-death experiences to serving jail-time in Rikers Island. Fortunately for him, music has always been his way of finding solace, and in “Make It Out,” he also uses it to tell his life story to listeners.

Accompanied by this riveting/hard-hitting instrumental, Money Bagz let’s loose, gifting us with a detailed look into the struggles he had to endure being trapped in the hood (This includes hearing gunshots constantly, not being able to afford the bare essentials, and dealing with systems designed for individuals like himself to fail). While Bagz’s raps are mainly delivered in this grungy manner, he also does a good job of instilling some passion into his verses by utilizing this melodic sound that mirrors the likes of another authentically street rapper from New York I know named French Montana.

“Make It Out” is too raw, organic and well put together to ignore. I f**k with it, and can definitely see myself bumping it over and over again!
