“Don’t Know, Don’t Care” is exactly how I feel about flu shots.
CHARLY is a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter that is all for letting her guard down every chance she gets. In “Don’t Know, Don’t Care,” she absolutely lets loose, gifting us with this emotional track that has her spilling her guts out every step of the way.
You know what I love about this song? It features an erratic instrumental by The Characters that has soothing vibes, yet hard-hitting drumming and electrifying guitar-play. In other words, it’s the perfect canvas for an artist like CHARLY to be free. Well, luckily for us, she does just that, singing confidently about wanting a love that is real, but authentic; a boy or girl; and most noticeably, nurturing. Personally, I love the message the song gives off, and how the message is delivered through some pretty untamed vocals.
CHARLY is inspirational. If she ever creates a book, I’ll be first in line to purchase it.
