Rapsody & Buddy Unite For “Phylicia”

Phylicia Rashad will go down as one of the baddest women in the history of human civilization.

I always go to both Rapsody and Buddy when I want to hear some smooth rap music, so you know I’m in heaven listening to “Phylicia.” On the track, listeners are treated to a nurturing instrumental, a soulful hook by Buddy, and most importantly, words of wisdom centered around the power of a mother’s love by Rapsody. On this particular day, Mother’s Day, I’m OK listening to this song over and over again.

I thought Denise Huxtable was bad, too.
