Lucid Illusions Rock Out In “No Directions”

I can’t feel my ears…

Lucid Illusions aren’t just an alternative rock band, they are also a trio of individuals that makes music that is relatable, hard-hitting and timeless-sounding. In “No Directions,” a single off of their self-titled album, they take listeners on quite the musical journey, making stops at your ears, heart and soul.

“No Directions” makes quite the impact on your ears. First and foremost, it is powered by this electrifying instrumental that features phenomenal guitar-play (Kudos to Jordan Lane), tumultuous drumming (Kudos to Donovan Hanson) and earth-shattering bass (Kudos to Mason Jones). Over this instrumental, the lead singer of the band (Jordan Lane), holds nothing back, singing fearlessly about trying to figure out how to navigate in a life that is confusing, dangerous and fragile. As a whole, I love the tempo attached to the song, it’s intriguing message, and most importantly, how it makes me want to hop on my kitchen table and play my imaginary guitar.

Make sure you give Lucid Illusions “No Directions” thousands of plays! Also, check out their self-titled EP HERE!
